This Privacy Policy describes how Optu AI Inc. operates the Cuack platform.

It explains how Optu AI Inc. (“Optu”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit our websites or use Cuack (the “Service”).

Two roles. For information about our own visitors and account holders, we act as the data controller and this Policy applies directly. For personal data that our customers upload or collect through the systems Cuack generates for them (for example, their own clients’ contact details), we process that data on the customer’s behalf and under their instructions — the customer’s own privacy notice governs it.

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide — name and email address when you request early access or create an account; business information you describe or upload when using the Service; messages you send us.
• Usage information — pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected through analytics tools.
• Technical logs — error reports and diagnostic data used to keep the Service reliable and secure.

2. How we use information

• to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• to respond to early-access requests and communicate with you about the Service;
• to monitor performance, debug errors, and secure the Service;
• to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

3. AI processing

The Service uses AI models, including models operated by third-party providers, to generate software and content from your input. Content you submit for generation may be processed by those providers to deliver the feature. We do not permit our AI providers to use your content to train their models.

4. Service providers

We share information with vendors that help us run the Service, under contracts limiting their use of it — including cloud hosting and storage (Google Cloud), content delivery (Cloudflare), product analytics (PostHog), error monitoring (Sentry), AI model providers, and messaging providers used to deliver communications you initiate. We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, and analytics. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it, except where a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in Mexico, this includes the ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition) under the LFPDPPP. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@cuack.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring — to protect personal information. No system is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password.

10. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice). The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
